Armed with years of music programming experience across radio, festivals, and major events, Ben Sorensen has spent countless hours obsessing over the tracks that made generations lose their minds and then making them hit even harder. The result is a set that isn't just "music." It reads a room, builds a story, and has people singing along to things they forgot they knew every word to.
Ben brings four distinct specialities to the decks. His remixed 80s, 90s and 00s sets take the classics and repackage them as festival-worthy anthems, familiar enough to sing along to, fresh enough to actually dance to. His Aussie pub rock sets are a love letter to the songs that belong at every great Australian night out. But its Ben's house sets that keep the floor moving long after it should have stopped. And for Oktoberfest? Ben goes full Bavarian — a specialist German set of certified bangers, complete with the wardrobe to match.
Ben has brought the energy to some of Australia's biggest stages including Rod Laver Arena, the MCG, Marvel Stadium, the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Sydney ICC, and the Brisbane Convention Centre, as well as festival stages and countless corporate events for clients including Star City Casino, PwC, Nine Network, AFL, IBM, PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival and more.

Do you want a cheap night, or a great night?
We don't do cheap, but we are specialists in GREAT!
To a certain extent this show is scalable to match reasonable budgets and venue size.
Can you do German and Oktoberfest events?
YES!!! Ben regularly DJ's at German clubs and Oktoberfest events with a full German set of German bangers. Ben also has the complete Bavarian wardrobe too, plus can host and play Oktoberfest games too. (BYO pretzel)
TIP: Book super early for Oktoberfest events as it's very busy!
Can you do my wedding?
Generally Ben doesn't do weddings or house parties - If you're after a wedding DJ, there are lots of other cheaper options out there. If you think you're an exception to the rule - Contact Us.
Why are dates limited?
This is a premium service and only limited to Ben's available dates between shooting other major projects and hosting large events.
Can you do themed events or custom shows?
YES! And we love to do that. From corporate branded shows with custom experiences, subtlety themed tracks, through to theme park activations - we have you covered.
Why does the price vary so much?
Because we do events properly, we can make the show as big or as intimate as your need. With a range of lighting, screens, audio, games, blasters. theming and effects we can really bring the show to life even more. We also have ticketing, graphic design and video studio services available too - all of this is reflected in the pricing range. But don't stress we will always quote so you know exactly how much it will be.
