About Ben Sorensen
Ben Sorensen is a lot of things. He's a corporate MC who's hosted events at Rod Laver Arena and the MCG. He's a voiceover artist whose voice has appeared in campaigns for Nine Network, Spotify, Audible and Movember. He's a DJ who can read a corporate crowd and pivot from ballads to bangers in real time. He's a published author. He's performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
He's also autistic. And that, it turns out, explains a lot.
Ben Sorensen's Story
Ben grew up with a brain that worked slightly differently to everyone else's — he just didn't have the language for it until his adult diagnosis. What he did have was an obsession with words, stories, music and making people laugh. That combination sent him down a path into media, performance and entertainment that's now spanned more than two decades.
He's hosted everything from VIP 10-person product launches to 5,000-person conferences. He's shared stages with Emmy Award winners, Olympic athletes, TV personalities, world-class chefs and prime ministers.
He's been a voice in your ears whether you knew it or not — on radio, on streaming platforms, in waiting rooms and on hold lines across the country.
What makes Ben different from other MCs and hosts isn't just the comedic timing or the polished delivery. It's the genuine curiosity about people. The neurodiverse brain that notices what others miss and connects dots others don't see. The autism that once felt like a barrier and now feels like his greatest professional asset.
