Expectation was super high. Dungeons and Dragons …. A loved game, an animated series, countless books and now, in the lead up upto it's 50th anniversary, is Honor Among Theves.
It’s expectedly big budget fantasy film that rolls along with uniquely a vibe not dissimilar to the tabletop game. There’s a solid smattering of witty humour, some not too difficult problem solving, some character growth, stunning cinematography, great costumes, magic, a dragon, but most of all it immerses you in the world and all with no prior knowledge required.
It’s a fun fantasy film that ticks lots of boxes and it will firmly go in the comfort watching category for me! Roll the D20 and see it for yourself!
