Frequently Asked Questions

(We made them up)

How would you describe your show to someone who knew nothing about it?

A plethora of curious questions masked by tangential witty conversation, stories, a smattering of puns, with a side of bad dad jokes…. And some prizes for the lucky few.

But isn’t the real prize our togetherness and learning?

What was your inspiration?

I’m mainly inspired by my overactive neurodiverse autistic brain, which I keep constantly fuelled with antidepressants and caffeine in equal measure.

An Engine is only as good as it’s fuel!

It’s that energy and constant curiosity that keeps me quick and nimble mentally and enables me to bounce off audience comments and energy.

What do you think the shows best quality is?

The weird feeling of connected comradery as we emerge from the trivia trenches having been in competition, yet oddly had the realisation that the competition was only with ourselves.

It’s competitive, non-competitive trivia… which now I say it makes it sound like the Schrödinger's cat of game shows.

Why should people see it?

Because it’s wonderfully irreverent fun… and an excellent way to chat to natter and learn about each other in an endearing way… not in a group therapy /weekly meeting kinda way.
